MARANATHA.

(Our Lord Cometh.) "But now, ho hath promised, saytoft 'Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also Heaven. And this word, yet once more, signifieth the removing of these things that are shaken, as o|E things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken —Hebrews 12, 26, 27. The amaalnj unrest which is prevalent throughout the whole world is, we believe, the shaking which is here referred to. Oa every hand we hear the cry, "Wanted 1 , a Superman"—one who will be head and chief of the troubled nations: on* who can hold the reins of Government in a firm grasp and keep things in order and submission. Those of us who believe in our Bibles know that such a one will arise in response to the univwsal demand. And it "will not be the King of Kings.N His time to i reign as Prince of Peace on this earth will surely come, but not yet. In St. John 5, 43, we read: "I am come in My Father's Name, and ye receive Me not; if another _ shall come in his own name, him ye will receive." Who is this "other" who shall come in his own name? Surely it is the anti-Christ—the second Messiah, the Star of the East, the Great Teacher for whom the world is already crying out. And a super-man he will truly be, for Satan will give "him hia power and his seat and great authority.' But those who know their God and His Word are exhorted, "Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which can. not be moved, let us have grace, where* by we may serve God acceptably with) reverence and godly fear."—Hebrews 1$
