PLEA BY, UNITED STATES. By Tetogtaph.—Press Asaa.—Copyrlg&i. Beceived Sept. 17, 6.5 p.m. London, Sept. 10. It is understood that the United States representatives at the International Communications Conference will endeavor to make arrangements under which cable messages during peace time will bo free from control and censorship. It is pointed out that the greater amount of news from Southampton to the United States passes through British control, while nearly all other cable dispatches to the United States pass over French, British, and Japanese lines, and are thus subject to supervision Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
