A SHELL EXPLODES PREMA-. TUB ELY. By Telegraph.—Press Assn Copyrlclit. Tokio, Sept. 14. Five were killed, nine fatally injured, and others slightly wounded by a premature explosion of a shell on board the Japanese battle cruiser Haruna while oil' Ilokkaido. The damage was confined to one turret. Vice-Admiral Kushyiina was on board the Ilaruna, but was not iujursd.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
