Advice was received last night that the C. and D. liner Port Pirie will sail from Sydney for New Plymouth to-morrow, being due here on Wednesday. She will lift the cargo formerly intended for tho Port Ataa, which vessel had to leave this port on account of trouble In her coal bunkers. WEST CAMARGO DISCHARGING. The West Camargo continued discharging yesterday, and it Is expected to have her ready to sail for Melbourne direct this afternoon. , THE RIMU DELAYED. The Rimu's trip from Onehunga yestfrday wa3 abandoned. She will now sail for New Plymouth at 2 p.m. to-day, arriving here tomorrow, and sailing on the return trip at 4.15 p.m. to-morrow. UNION COMPANY'S BOATS. The Union Company's newly-purdiased Cosanos was due at Melbourne yesterday from Bristol and New Orleans. A \jfireiess message from the cargo steamer Kalwarra 3tatos that tho vessel will arrive at Bluft to-morrow from llakatea Island. The Kurow is fixed to load at Newcastle and Sydney this week for Wellington and Lyttelton. The British India steamer Gnrada left Calcutta on Tuesday morning for Singapore, Brisbane, and Sydney with a largo quantity of cargo on board for Auckland and Wellington. NIAGARA AT VANCOUVER. Cable advice has been received that 1 the Union Company's R.MS. Niagara arrived at Vancouver at 5 p.m. last Sunday from Auckland, via ports. THE NORTHUMBERLAND.. The liner Northumberland, while en route from Nowcastlo and Sydney to Lyttelton, was diverted to Wellington by radio message, and arrived oil Wednesday. The Northumberland was to leave Wellington late last night for Lyttelton, Napier, and Glsbome, and returns to Wellington to load for Boston and New York. The vessel is to sail from Wellington about October 12 for the United States ports. CARGO FROM NEW YORK. The A. and A. Line chartered steamer City of Edinburgh left New York on September 9, cargo-laden for Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Australian ports. The'vessel is due at Lyt(elton about October 14th, THE ATHENIC. The R.M.S, Athenic arrived at Auckland from Southampton on Tuesday. The vessel brought C7S passengers for the Dominion, 70 being in the first-class, 112 in the second saloon and 490 In the third-class.
