By Selegraph.—Preu Aran.—Copyright. •'Wellington, Last Night. # Mr. Israel Cohen, emissary of the executive of the Zionist organisation, leaves for Australia to-morrow. The result of his appeal to the Jews fef New Zealand for the Palestine Restoration Fund has been to raise the awn of £90,000. In addition to this, Mrs. David L. Nathan, of Auckland, has Initiated a movement whereby the Jewish women of the Dominion will provide ti fund to train Jewish "Plunket" nurses Jn England for service in Palestine. On the eve of his departure from Nfevr Zealand, Mr. Cohen issued the following message: "I should like to express my sincerest thanks to all those who have contributed to the success of my mission in New Zealand, a success which has exceeded my anticipations. I nm grateful to* the Government and 'civic authorities for the cordial welcome they have extended to me: to the public* for the sympathetic Rearing they have always accorded me, and to the Press for the publicity and editorial tapport it has so Teadily given to my (campaign. I thankfully acknowledge the (very generous response made to my ap2>«U by the Jewish community, which, though small in numbers, has set an exjßeUenfr example to all Jews in the test •f the world."
