Word lias been received from London that the New Zealand Shipping Company is having built four «ew steamers for the trade between New Zealand tod London. These steamers are to hear the names of. Hurunui, Tekoa, Tongariro, and Turakina, and two of them are to be delivered by the builders at the end of the present year, and the , other two early nest year. In addition to the foregoing, the same company has had built the steamer Piako, the delivery of which is to be given this month. All of these steamers will be insulated for the conveyance of frozen meat, dairy produce, and fruit, besides which they will have special holds set apart for wool and other general cargo.
