POLICE FIRE VOLLEYS, By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Delhi, Sept. 11. . Continuous Btrikes in Madras are causing serious troubles. A body of strikers who were attempting to prevent others resuming at the Burma Oil Company's works came into collision with the police, who fired volleys and dispersed the strikers several of whom were arrested. —Aus.-N.Z.
