FATE OF MONSTER LINER.
AGROUND IN A DOCK. By Telegraph.—Press Aaan Copyright, vs'ashing-ton, Sept. 10. The United States Shipping Board admits that the ex-German liner Leviathan has so badly deteriorated as to require the expenditure of at least 8,000,000 dollars in repairs. The vessel is aground at Hoboken aock. It is considered doubtful if the Leviathan will ever appear again on the seas.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. [The Leviathan, which was built by the Germans in 1914, is a steamer of 34,282 tons and length of 907 ft.]
