THE PORT BUSY.
PORT ALMA AT WAITARA. Owing (q berthage accommodation sit the New Plymouth wharf being occupied, the C. and D. liner Port Alma, from Sydney, was diverted to Waitara, where she arrived yesterday morning about 7.30. Latest advices indicate that the Port Alma might be expected at New Plymouth to-morrow. According to a Wellington paper the West Camargo, from 'Frisco, is scheduled to leave Wellington to-morrow. It appears doubtful, however, whether the Port Alma will get away from New Plymouth tilj about Thursday or Friday, and the West Camargo will no doubt be further delayed, The Atsuta Maru and the Flora, which have been delayed by the rain, should get away to-day if the weather conditions permit of the completion oi unloading operations. The Atsuta Maru goes to Newcastle to load another cargo of coal for New Plymouth, and the Flora returns south to load for New Plymouth.
