EXCITING SEQUEL.
TO STRATFORD POLICE COURT 1 CASE. (From Our Own ' Stratford, Last Night. The case of Hunter versus Bridger, which was heard at the Stratford Magistrate's Court to-day, had an eteiUng sequel after the Magistrate had given his decision, The crowd Which had been in Court was dispersing when Mr. Fookes, cgunsel for Hunter, (MSU back and said that C. H. Bridger bad insulted both himself and Hunter, and ' * threatened to get even with' then. Bridger was immediately called back and the Magistrate sharply asked what 111 meant by such conduct. Bridge? denied that he had made any. insulting remark*, and commenced to argue in a very loud voice, when the Magistrate warned liim that if he did not keep quiet he'would be lined for contempt of Court; Mr. Fookes said unless he could receive M assurance that Bridger would Apt bM personal violence he would aeeft to for the protection of the Court. Bridge? replied that he had no.grievance agwwf Mr. Fpokes, and said he would' fee noli careful in future. ,
