WOOL GROWERS.
: IiONDON REPRESENTATIVES. APPOINTMENTS NOT DEFINITE. (Bjr Wlr*.—Parliamentary fieporfer.) ; : ; Wellington, Last Night. A question touching the representation of New Zealand wool growers in London was put to the Prime Minister by Mr. A> D. McLeod (Wairarapa) in the House of Representatives this afternoon.. % MeLeod recalled that some twelve M fourteen days ago a meeting of wool , growers decided that certain appointments should be made, and mentioned the'names of a number of gentlemen at -present in London as being likely to (ill the positions. Recent developments appeared to show that there was some doubt about the amount of wool i in store in England and here in New Zealand. In view of these circumstances, he would like to know from the Prime Minister whether these people in London had been communicated with, or whether any of them had replied accepting appointment. • Mr. Massey said that a cablegram had been sent to England, but so far he had received no reply. The question had better be placed on the order paper, and by next Wednesday it might be possible to answer it definitely. He wbnld then be able to communicate with Lowl&n and ascertain the exact position.
