ADJUSTING TAXATION.

ANOMALIES TO BE REMOVED. (By Wire.—Parliamentary Reporter.) Wellington, Last Night. The Bill dealing with the scales of land and income tax is now being printed, and will be introduced in the House of Representatives within a few days. This Bill will provide for a certain readjustment of taxation, with a view, in part, to the removal of anomalies. Taxation is to be reduced at soine points and increased ,at others. The principle adopted in the adjustment of the scales has been to distribute the burden as equitably as possible.
