COURSING.
TO-DAY'S MEETING. Tho final coursing meeting of the season under tlie New Plymouth Coursing Club will take place this afternoon at their Plumpton, Glen Avon. Fitzroy. the first course starting at two o'clock. Two stakes will be decided, one for maiden dogs, and one for doys that have never won more than £. r > in stakes. in the former event same, very promising dots are engaged, and .some good courses should result. The Maiden Stakes have drawn some good dogs, and with Shillelagh, Duimnersuuo, Gloaming, Plain Bill, Champion Lass, and Rejected Hope engaged, followers of. tho sport should have an enjoyable day's outing.
