An action ha* commenced in which Mr. Holman (the ex-Premier) claims £SOOO damages from Phillip Walter Tarluiton, for alleged libel contained in the newspaper Tweed Daily. Melbourne. Sept. 1. The Federal Ministry presented Parer and Mcintosh with cheques for £SOO each.
