JAPANESE VESSEL.
FIRST TO COME HERE. The first Japanese liner to visit, New Plymouth will arrive hero this week, ;uid the advent of the ship will no doubt prove an interesting occurrence at the port. The ship in question, the Astua'Mnru. left Newcastle last Thursday with 3000 tons of coal for the Railway Department, and may be expected to arrive Hero to-morrow. No- details are available as to the size of the vessel.
