ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
FOUND DROWNED. By Telesraph.—riess Associaliuu. Taumarunui, August 28. Word has been received from Matiere that the body of Bartholomew Hartford j was found in the Mangaroa River. Hartford had been missing from Ohura for ; some days. The police dragged the ■ stream and recovered the body. At the ; inquest a verdict of found drowned was i returned. Hartford was a laborer, aged: 56, and a native of Dublin. Be had been in ill-health.
