Southland ladies hockey match here~ to-day was played in the presence of a large number of spectators, and resulted in a win for the home team by four goals to three. The visitors made r. fine showing, and two of their goals in particular were the result of splendid play One of Hawke's Bay's goals followed a penalty bully.
