RECEIVES LAST SACRAMENT. London, August 25. McSweeney has received the last sacrament. Constable Haugh was--shot dead at Bantry, and another constable was killed at Mount Temple. Four disguised men Bred on three constables at QUngarjfF, killing Constable McNamara and seriously injuring Constable Cteary. The county councils of Donegal, Leitrim and Dublin arc wrthdrawing their funds from the banks, fearing confiscation by the Government because the councils refuse to pay claims for Government and other property destroyed during the disturbances.—Aus.-N.Z.
