Bailey, S.M., at the Stratford Magistrate's Court to-day, was that thp parties in question had chosen the third anniversary of their wedding dav to discuss their domestic troubles in Court The complainant was Agnes Prince (Mr. A. Coleman), and she applied for orders f °r separation, guardianship of the child, and maintenance from Charles Prince (Mr. P. O'Dea), on the grounds that the defendant had failed to provide her with adequate maintenance. After the luncheon adjournment, Mr 0 Dea stated that the parties had came to a mutual agreement, under which the defendant would pay his wife £1 10s per week. There seemed no hope of a reconciliation between the parties and an agreement had been arrived at The Magistrate made orders in favor of complainant for separation, maintenance, and guardianship-of the child the defendant to pay maintenace to his wife and child at the rate of 30s per week, and to have access to his child at reasonable hours once a fortnight. General regret will be felt that Stratford is to lose Mr. Evans' services after such a short stay in the borough.

THE KING'S CINEMA THEATRE STRATFORD. SPECIAL MATINEE" PROGRAMME. Marguerite Clark in "widow's weeds." This is rather startling considering that only recently we heard of her marriage to Lieut. H. P. Williams. However, it is only in her Paramount \rtcraft picture "Widow By Proxy," which will be screened at the King's Cinema Theatre, Stratford, at the matinee today at 1.30 and to-night at 8 p.m. Even in this picture she isn't really a widow, but just masquerading as one to help a proud and modest girl chum, whose husband is reuorted missing in France, to secure a legacy. Lots of complications ensUe, and it takeß a deal of quick wittedness to straighten matters out, especially when the supoosed dead husband returns to life. "Gee Whiz," the 2000 ft Mack Sennett comedy which is described as an absolute scream will also be screened. Also, by special modest. Fatty Arbuckle's great' comedy, "The Sheriff" will be screened for the last time this afternoon. Usual prices. Box plan at the Marble Bar. "THE MIRACLE MAN." "The Miracle Man" is a powerful picturisation of George M. Cohan's celebrated drama of flesh and blood men and women, sinning, draggling, loving, rising from the underworld into the light- _ It drives ahead with action that grips and holds, but it is softened with humor so true that it laughs with all mankind, so deep that it starts the tears. It is a story of 10-t souls found, but it is not propaganda in any sense of the word, neither has it any creed save that of humanity. It is not a religious picture, yet the man or woman who can sit through it unmoved is not to be envied. Its charm is irresistible, its passion is masterful; it instils in the mind a new and deeper sense of kinship with humanity and a deeper understanding of the spiritual forces of existence. The supreme heigts of the draina are reached as it portrays the silent conquering of hardened wills, the physical and spiritual regeneration of those who had sought to debase and exploit the loftiest instincts of humanity. No detail that could add conviction to a wonderful story has been omitted. Book your seats now at the Marble Bar, Stratford.
