MORE WINTRY CONDITIONBi' The Government weather report is* sued last night states that stormy con< ditions have been experienced generally with west to south-west gales prevailing. Heavy rain has fallen in many parts, and snow on high country is the South Island. The centre of low pressure passed in the south during Tftursday night. Present indications are for high southwest winds, and cold and boisterous Weather, with further rain probable generally, and snow on the higher levels in the south.
