EX-SOLDIERS' PRIVILEGES.

RAILWAY PASSES TO END, By Telegraph.—Press Association Wellington, Last Night, It is understood that for' various reasons a considerable number of re* turned soldiers have not yet wade use of the orders for privilege railway tickets enabling them to travel free for 28 days over the railways of the Dttfdn* ion, and it has been decided that all orders must be exchanged for raflway tickets not later than November 2nd next. '■■ • ■ In effect, this means that no privilege railway ticket issued to a soldier will bo available after November 80, when the 28 days will expire owi*g to the very heavy demands that will be made upon the time of the railway staffs in all parts of the Dominion from November onwards, soldiers entitled to claim the privilege tickets are requested to make application for them as early as possible.
