A fifteen-round professional boxing contest between .lack Heeney (Glsborne) and Les Gleeson (Australia) for a purse of £l5O and expenses, was won by Heeney. The contest was distinguished, for id-fighting throughout, in vi.iloh the local !;:d easily excelled, and won from tho start, the result being never in doubt.
