CONCLUDING BUSINESS. The following further business was 'dealt with at the United cietiea* Conference at Stratford on Thursday:— Tho rule as to Hospital Board fees was amended by atriking out tliu provision for payment of 4/(5 a day. A motion to reduce the age limit for children from 10 to 14 was lost. After some discussion it was decided that the annual contribution be £l, and 14s for unmarried females. The new rates will come into force for the December quarter. A suggestion \vas made that members should notify their discharge within seven, instead of thirty days, but tlic rule was not altered.
The case of Egmont Lodge's failure to collect last year's levy of G» was discussed, and it was arranged to again bring the compulsory nature of the levy to the attention of all members. TUft election of officers resulted: Mr. A. J. Tunbridge, president; Mr. Sage, vice-president; Messrs W. S. Gilbert, F. Brabant, C, D. Sole, and R. H. Geddis, executive; Mr. H. R. Cattley, secretary (with a substantial increase of salary); ■Mr. Pepperell, auditor, It was decided that no accounts which (ire six months overdue will be paid by '.lie Association.
