Brennan associate Professor of German and Comparative Literature. The Seamen's and Firemen's Unions refuse to take the Fiona to sea, stating the stokehold is under-manned. The Fiona belongs to the Colonial Sugar Company, and is employed on the Fiji-Auckland-Sydney run. Melbourne, August 20. The Victorian harvest is expected to total fifty million bushels.
