AGAIN BEFORE THE COUNCIL. CONSIDERATION POSTPONED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Lust Ifight. i In the Legislative Council this afternoon a message from tho House of Representatives stated that the House disagreed with certain amendments made by tiie Council in the Gaming Amendment Bill. Sir Francis Bell moved that the Council agree not to. insist on the amendments objected to. The Hon. 0. Samuel urged that consideration lie adjourned until to-morrow to enable members to look into the points. Sir Francis Bell replied that the Council • could not afford to .riik loßing the Hill by insisting on the amendments. It was proposed to decide the matter on tho voieps, and a postponement until to-morrow was carried by 17 to Id,.
