A WANGANUI CASE. By Taleprtph.—Press Association. Palmerston North, Last NightThe case against Albert James Wilfred, a carpenter, pf Wanganui. charged with indecently assaulting two little girls, was concluded before Justice Chapman and a jury to-day. There was a change of venue from Wanganui to Palmerston North, as the jury at two previous trials had disagreed. After a retirement of over four hours the jury again disagreed, and the judge ordered a fresh trial for the next session, intimating that he would report on the case to the Minister of Justice, who could decide whether the case would be pursued further.
