RE-UNION OF CHURCHES.
FREE CHURCHES' SUPPORT. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copynsht. Received August 15, 5.5 p.m. London, August 14. The Australian Press Association interviewed the Rev. F. B. Meyer, President of the National Council of Free Churches, who, commenting on the Lambeth Conference, favored a re-union of the Churches, but said that he was afraid the proposal to make reordination of Free Church clergy obligatory would create an insuperable difficulty. Ho cordially appreciated the proposal to make the episcopacy non-political. —Aus-N.Z. Cable Assn.
