MAXIMUM PRICES FIXED. i By Telegraph.—Press Association, Wellington, Last Night. According to a Gazette notice tlie Gov- * ernment has fixed the maximum retail price of petrol at Auckland, Wellington, Chriatchurch, and Dunedln' for class A at 32s 6d per case, class B 27s fld per case; at Napier and Timaru, .13s and 88s; at Wanganui, New Plymouth, and Gisborne, 35s and 30s; and at Invercargill 34s fid and 23s 60.
