THE CENSORSHIP.

LAW STILL IN FORCE. (By Wire.—Parliamentary Reporter.) Wellington, Last Night. In the House of Representatives today, Mr. Holland (Buller) asked the Prime Minister if he would take steps to abolish the military censorship. The member produced a letter received in Wellington on the previous day bearing n stamp "passed by the military censor, New Zealand." It appeared, he said, that in spite of official assurances the military censorship was still active. The Prime Minister said that the censorship was to be brought to an end by Statute. The needfesary Bill had been introduced in the House, and was now before a committee. The censorship would cease as soon as the Bill was passed into law.
