CIVIL SERVICE BONUS.

THE DATE OF PAYMENT. (By Wire.—Parliamentary Reporter.) Wellington, Last Night. In reply to a question to-day Mr. Massey said that the payment of the bonus to members of the Public Service, outside the Engine-drivers, Firemen and Cleaners' Association, would not be delayed by the fact that the E.F.C.A. ballot on the acceptance- of the Government's terms was still Incomplete. "While the Treasury is prepared lo pay out now," said Mr. Massey, "the arrangements will not be complete before the end of next week or the beginning of the week following that. Monday week is the date on which we expect to commence the payment of the Government services.''
