TIKQRANGI DAIRY .COMPANY. ANNUAL REPORT. The annual report of the Tikorangl Dairy Company states: The working account shows a credit balance of £2738 4s, which It Is proposed to utilise by paying another 2%d per lb. en fat received during the past year. Cream suppliers will have then received Is B%d, and* milk suppliers Is B%d, net for all fat supplied. In addition to this the suppliers of milk for casein have also received 8d per 100 lbs on milk so used, and it is hoped that, when the final returns are to hand, another 4d per lOOlbs milk will be available, bringing the payment for casein to approximately 3d per lb on fat, or a combined fat and ceaeln payment of Is uy 4 <l per lb butter-fat. During the year your directors purchased a. cottage for the use of employees, and the housing difficulty is now overcome. Owing to the constantly occurring trouble over shortage of water, arrangements were ma.de. with Mr. Richards, of Hamilton, to put down a bore, and it is confidently hoped that the company is now assured of an adequate water supply. The retiring directors are Messrs. Wills and C. W. Sarten, who are, however, eligible for re-election. The following figures regarding output are given: Milk received 5,495,102. lbs; cream received, 175,8301b5; butter made, 344,1361ba; fat from milk, 22G,5801b5; fat from cream, G4,4001b5; average milk test, 4.12.
