The .'blacks now completely changed the complexion of the game, and registered several fine tries, which were the result of brilliant passing by the backs, and particularly dashing play by both the wingers, Storey and Steele. The former was the first to cross, followed by Steele, whose try was converted by Tilyard. Algar obtained from a serum In his opponents' goal, and running strongly, raced round the three-quarters and scored. Steele shortly afterwards just beat Belth for the ball when it was over the Metropolitan line, making the scores 17 to p.
