SEWING DAY.

FOR THE PARK FUND. To-day is to be a "sewing day" at Mrs. Burgess' rooms, for the Park £IOOO fund. The rooms will be open all day, and a good'gathering is looked , for, as time is getting on liOw and there is much work to be done and much to be finished off. For the convenience of those who cannot come during the day the rooms will be kept open during the evening, when it is hoped that those who may be engaged in business during the day, yet who wish to assist this most laudable effort to place the Park funds on a more satisfactory footing, may give their quota of service In helping to make up garments, etc., from materials on hand.
