PROSPECT OP EARLY ACTION. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright, Received July 25, 5.5 p.m. New York, July 22. The Washington correspondent of the New York Times states it is expected that Mr. W. 6. Harding (the Republican nominee for tile Presidency), if elected, will call an extra session of Congress immediately to put the country on a peace basis.
According to the interpretation put upon his speech accepting nomination this is considered a repudiation of the Lodge faction, which advocated the League of Nations with the reservations adopted by the Senate.—Ays.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
