FUTURE OF SIBERIA.
PROTECTION BY BUFFER STATE. By Teleiraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright, Received July 25, 5.5 p.m. Tokio, July 22. The armistice agreement between Japan and the Far Eastern Russian Government in Siberia states it is hoped the establishment of a buffer State under the united Governments will be democratic, but not communistic. Japan agreed to withdraw from the buffer State, and the Russian Bolshevik armies will be barred. The Minister of Finance (M. Takaehashi) announced that a loan of 100,000,000 yen for the South Manchurian railroad would be floated in the United States in the near future.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
