The death is announced of Mrs. Corn* wallis West, ft famous beauty.-i-Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. [A famous actress noted for her beauty, Mtb. Cornwallie West is better Known as Mrs. Patrick Campbell. She made her first appearance on the stage in 1880, and rapidly rose to become one of the leading actresses in England, following a remarkably successful carter until she retired a few years ago. Her husband was killed in South Africa in 1900, and in 1914 she married Mr. George Cornwallis West. The marriage attracted a great deal of interest in London society, for Mr. Cornwallis West Was previously the husband of, Ladr Bandolph Churchill, the mother, of Mr. Winston Churchill. Lord Randolph Churchill died in 1895, and five years later bis widow, a picturesque figure in London society, married Mr. Cornwallis West After some years they were divorced and then, in 1914, Mr, Cornwallis West married Mrs. Patrick Campbell.]
