(From Our Own Correspondent.) Your personal relative to Mr. M. J. Brennan having recently undergone an operation is somewhat belated. The amputation occurred a couple of years ago, and, though confined to his bed, "M.J." is still going strong, at least as strong As his grievous disabilities permit.
