The column which is endeavouring to relieve the garrison at Rumala encountered the enemy, two thousand strong, four miles north-west of Rumala. After a prolonged engagement, including severe fighting, our attack was successful, the enemy being effeccvoly bombed by aeroplanes and machine .gunned.
