SALARY OP £450 PROPOSED. (By Wire. —Parliamentary Reporter.) Wellington, Last Night. The Civil List Bill No. 2, which has been introduced in the House of Representatives, is the Bill introduced earlier in the session amended by the withdrawal, of the proposal to exempt certain official and legislative salaries from income tax. The Bill increases from £4OO to £450 the honorarium proposed to be paid to members of the House of Representatives. The present salary is £3OO. The other payments stand as in the original Bill.
