CERTAIN ONES TO CONTINUE. (By Wire.—Parliamentary Reporter.) Wellington, Last Night. The War. Regulations Continuance Bill, which has been introduced in the House of Representatives, is a rather complicated measure, , with several lengthy schedules. It continues in force, with consequential amendments, certain war regulations relating to alien enemies, seditious documents, fire arms and ammunition, permits and passports, enemy property, trading with the enemy, property of prisoners-of-war, ownership of ship)?, seditious strikes and lockouts, control of shipping, protection of soldiers and discharged soldiers from legal process, and the sale of liquor to soldiers undergoing medical treatment. Certain war regulations are to (be deemed 'to be regulations under the Board of Trade Act. It i 3 provided that in so far' as any regulations to which this section refers to are ultra vires under the Board of Trade Act, or any Act other than the principal Act, they shall be deemed to be revoked. Tlie war regulations transferred to the Board of Trade Act relate to coal, wheat, flour, bran, pollard, lighting petrol, timber, milk, wool, butter boxes, and boots. All war regulations" no£ covered by the Bill are deemed to be revoked.
