Semi-official apologies for the acceptance of the coal terms declare that no other decision was possible after Marshal Poch was summoned. On the one hand there was invasion into the heart of Germany with incalculable political consequences, and on the other a reduction of eight per cent, of the coal supply to Germany.—Reuter Service.
