RACING CONFERENCE. AN APPEAL DISMISSED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, July 19 The Racing Conference judges dismissed '.lie appeal by the Rangitikel Racing Club against the decision of the Wanganui District Committee that the Bangltikel stewards made an error of judgment In debarring the horses Yankee Jack and Hautawa from starting In the Maiden Hack Race at tho Rangitikel Club's meeting on March 20,11920. The race was a hack race within the meaning of Rule 1 or Part 1, and the following words in Ru'e 2 therefore apply: "The amount won by any horse In a fiat race, hurdle race or steep'echaso respectively shall be estimated separately, and shall not debar such horses from entry, except In the special class of race :n which he has won the amounts."
