EVERYBODY'S. PEGGY HYLAND IN "CAUGHT IN THE ACT." Lovers of comedy and romance will find their heart's desire in "Caught in the« Act," the William Fox. photoplay which is showing at Everybody's tonight and to-morrow. In this tale, filled with fun and mischief, Peggy Hyland is starring in the hole of Priscilla Kane. As a school-girl" she is full of pranks; as a debutante she defies every convention. She, is the sort of breezy, whole-souled girl that everyone loves. She never is bad. but always is in some sort of scrape. Even her marriage is a school-girl prank that takes place on the fire escape of her fiance's Jiachelor apartments in the small hours of the night. Another Stingaree episode, "The Taking of Stingaree," ako shows with this programme.
THE PEOPLE'S. LAST NIGHT OF BESSIE LOVE. Delightful Bessie Love screens finally to-night at the People's in lier verv entertaining play, "The Fighting Colleen." The bill includes the latest Gazette, Comedy, and Travelog. BIG FOX BILL TO-MORROW. The picture-loving public of this town will welcome with joy the news that a Theda Bara super-production is soon to be shown to them. Miss Bara's newest starring vehicle, directed by J. Gordon Edwards, comes ro the reople's theatre to-morrow .for a sojourn of two days. In this super-producton Mjss Bara forsakes the costumed productions which she has been appearing in, and returns to a story of contemporary life and conditions. Miss Bara takes the part of Mary Lynde, who first sees a glimmer of hope come into her bedraggled life when an o.rt.Ht asks her 10 pose as model for a painting of the Madonna. At his studio she meets Robert Sinclair, a wealthy man about town, who immediately sees a new field of conquest in the prettv girl. Mary goes out with Sinclair. It is the story of so many working girls. He promises to marry her. But ho does not. She seeks refuge among the very dregs of the populace. Bent on revenge she seeks out the girl who is to marry the man she hates. They plan a retribution, which ends the drama with a vehemence rarely seen on the screen. The bill includes the big Sunshine comedy, "A Schoolhouse Scandal."
