AGAINST BOOKMAKERS.
DRASTIC MEASURES PROPOSED. (By Wire.—Parliamentary Eeporter.) Wellington, Last Night. A Gaming Act Amendment Bill has, been introduced by the Minister of Internal Affairs (the Hon. J. G. Anderson). It has not yet been circulated. The Bill, it is understood, proposes to impo9c additional restrictions upon bookmakers, but it does not deal with the conduct of racing. The provisions of the Bill are reported to be drastic.
