BOXING.
TARANAKI ASSOCIATION. A meeting of tlio committee of the Taranaki Boxing Association was held in the Soldiers' Club on Tuesday night, Mr. E. Whittle presiding over a largo attendance. Complete arrangements are being made for the tournament winch is to be held in the Empire Theatre on the 29th inst. In the welter weight class, Land (of New Plymouth) will try conclusions with P. O'Carroll (of Inglewood), while in the heavy weight C. F. Clifton will he matched against C. V'olzke (of Midhirst). Mi'. Tim Tracey will again be referee.
