THE PERTH STRIKE.
GOVERNMENT MAY RESIGN. By Teleeraph.—Press Assn—Copyright. (Received July 'l2, 11 p.m. • Perth, .7uly 12. As a result of the strike all Government offices and schools have »een picketed. No civil service work is being done. The Lumpers' Union and Carters' Union of Fremantle and Perth are sympathetic and refused to handle any Government goods, which have seen declared "black." The Premier (Mr. Mitchell) has issued an ultimatum to his colleagues stating that he will resign rather than grant the strikers' demands, and as the At-torney-General (Mr. Draper) supports hixn in this attitude, the fate of the Government is in "the balance.—Aus.N.Z.
