Cable Assn. WAR ON POLICE. London, JtSy 11 During a three hours' attack on the fiathmore police barracks a bomb killed Sergeant Wynne. . Eight men attacked Sergeant Leery and Constable Barry, after obtaining the mail at the Rathduff Post Office, teery was struck by four bullets, and is in a critical condition. The assailants took official letters. Sergeant Mooney, returning from Dunglow Post Office with letters, was critically wounded by 200 pellets from a shot gun fired from a vacant house.— A.US.-N.Z.
