NO WORK IN ENGLAND. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyrtitftt, Received July 11, 5.5 p.m. London, July 0. There is still much distress- among Australian discharged soldiers. The authorities strongly urge that Australians should not come Jo England in the hope of securing employment, as some British Unions refuse their admission to membership. A recent case was that of m Australian who obtained a position as fireman on board a steamer bound for Australia, but he was refused admission into the Firemen's Union, officials declaring plenty of their own memters were unemployed.—Aus.-N.Z.
