DISTRICT NEWS.
RAHOTU. (From Our Own Correspondent.) . Our little AngU«i(it Church was quite crowded last Wednesday afternoon by relations and friends of Miss Winfred Smith, second daughter of Mrs. H. Laymon and Mr. Norman Hessenbrittle, who were united in holy matrimony by the Rer. C. Addenbrooke. The bride looked very happy us she entered the church on her step-father's arm, while the organist (Miss Hughson) played the hymn, "The Voice That Breathed o'er Eden." She wore the usual veil and orange blossom, and carried a lovely white bouquet. Her sister, Miss Lucy, who attended as bridesmaid, wore pink silk relieved with black, and k black hat. The bride's mother was attired in violet silk with hat to mutch. Mr. S. Taylor was best man. After the wedding a reception was held at Mrs. Layinah's residence, whero many guests assembled, several car loads coming from New Plymouth. -
Deep sympathy was felt in the district for Mr. H. -Symons amj.his young family, when It became known that Mrs. Symons had passed away after , so short an illness.
