By Telegraph.—Press Asjnr— Copyrlsht. In the House of Lords, Lord Middleton called attention to a great increase in tHe estimated normal revenue. He moved that it was incumbent on the Government to reduce the present undue strain on the nation's resources, and appoint special commissioners empowered to wind up special war service departments, and reduce other inflated establishments to their normal, level. This was carried by 95 votes to 23. In the House of Commons, replying question, Mr. Walter Long (First Lord of the Admiralty) said the British mission with General Wrangel was beiilg withdrawn. He added Jrhat America and France stiU have naval representatives. Questioned in "the House of Commons whether the Australian and- Canadian example would* be followed in raising politicians' salaries with a free Tailway pass, Ms? Bonar Law said the Government would noj adopt the suggestion. In food' riots in Karlsruhe, a woman waß killed and several persons seriously injured. Budcpe'sth reports state that 210 were killed by a dynamite explosion in a coalmine, where a shaft collapsed, and nearly all below were buried alive.
